Job Summary:

The AI & Robotics Teacher is responsible for introducing students (Classes VI–X) to the concepts of Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and related technologies. The role involves teaching programming, AI fundamentals, robotics design, and hands-on projects, while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Teach AI concepts, machine learning basics, and robotics fundamentals as per the school curriculum
• Introduce students to programming languages suitable for AI & robotics (Python, Scratch, C++, etc.)
• Deliver practical and project-based lessons to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and teamwork through hands-on robotics projects

Curriculum & Assessment

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, coding exercises, and robotics project assignments
• Assess student performance in theory and practical tasks
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
• Support preparation for competitions, exhibitions, and tech fairs

Laboratory & Practical Work

• Manage AI & robotics labs, ensuring availability and maintenance of hardware, kits, and software
• Supervise student projects, prototypes, and coding tasks
• Ensure safe handling of electronic components, tools, and robots

Student Mentorship & Engagement

• Guide students in design thinking, AI experiments, and robotics challenges
• Organize coding clubs, robotics workshops, and inter-school competitions
• Inspire curiosity and innovation in STEM and technology

Professional & Co-curricular Responsibilities

• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs
• Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary STEM projects
• Communicate with parents about students’ progress and projects
• Support school’s technology initiatives and events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or related STEM field
• B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of programming, robotics kits (Arduino, LEGO Mindstorms, Raspberry Pi), and AI tools

Experience

• 1–3 years teaching or practical experience in AI, robotics, or technology preferred
• Freshers with strong hands-on skills and project experience may apply
