AGM/ DGM/ GM- Mechanical

Job Summary:

Lead end-to-end Mechanical & HEMM operations at mine site, ensuring high equipment availability, safety, statutory compliance, and cost-effective maintenance to support production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance and operation of HEMM fleet (dumpers, shovels, excavators, loaders, dozers, drills, crushers, DG sets).
• Ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with DGMS, Mines Act, and statutory norms.
• Plan maintenance budgets, spares, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Manage mechanical teams, contractors, and OEMs.
• Implement reliability engineering, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with operations and mine planning for optimal equipment deployment.
• Review KPIs, downtime, cost, and MIS reporting.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 18–25 years of mining experience with 10+ years in senior HEMM leadership roles.
• Experience in large opencast mines preferred.
