About The Job
- Our Agile Coach is responsible for elevating the impact, flow, and operational maturity of product development teams across the organization with the ability to connect delivery tools into a unified system that produces real, decision-ready data.
- The Agile coach serves as an inspirational force and trusted partner to Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering leaders, Executive Leadership, and cross-functional contributors such as Finance, Sales, and Marketing - helping align the entire organization around delivering high-quality outcomes predictably, sustainably, and with increasing leverage through AI.
- The Agile coach combines operational coaching expertise with hands-on fluency in product development tooling, Jira architecture, and data engineering within the SDLC. The ideal candidate architects the systems, structures, and data models that make performance visible, actionable, and continuously improving.
- The Agile Coach provides hands-on support and mentorship, enabling individuals and teams to improve opportunity-seeking, strengthen collaboration, reinforce delivery discipline, and maintain a relentless focus on customer value. They observe team performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement practices while instilling the behaviors, mindsets, and characteristic of high-performing organizations.
- They work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to ensure strategic alignment to organizational goals, consistent application of Agile principles, and the adoption of measurable practices such as flow metrics, operational KPIs, backlog quality standards, and regular inspection/adaptation cadences, all underpinned by rigorous Jira hygiene, structured data taxonomies, and analytics-ready configurations.
- The Agile Coach also plays a critical role in organizational change management, helping teams navigate new processes, structural shifts, evolving business strategies, and the organizational adoption of AI across the product development lifecycle. They ensure that improvements across workflows, practices, and interpersonal behaviors translate into meaningful client outcomes and sustained organizational success.
- Serve as a visible, motivational leader who reinforces a culture where every contributor understands how their work drives measurable client outcomes, market impact, and organizational performance
- Model excellence in agile ceremonies and organizational alignment by grounding teams in client value streams, end-to-end product flow, and operational improvements tied to strategic objectives
- Coach and mentor Product Owners, Product Managers, product development teams, and engineering leaders to strengthen delivery impact, economic prioritization, and predictable execution aligned to product purpose and business strategy
- Architect and operationalize enterprise-wide performance visibility through disciplined, expert-level use of Jira and it Jira Query Language (JQL), including project structures, issue type hierarchies, custom fields, workflow design, board configurations, automation rules, and advanced JQL to establish standardized definitions, workflows, reporting structures, and data integrity that enable comparable, decision-ready insights across all product lines
- Own the Jira data model as a strategic asset: design and enforce taxonomies, field conventions, and workflow states that produce clean, analytics-ready datasets with governed quality standards across Jira and analytical tooling such as Pendo and internal reporting platforms
- Unify diverse product offerings into a cohesive operational system by connecting Jira structures, analytical tooling, and reporting into a single source of truth - enabling leadership to evaluate performance holistically, allocate capital with clarity, and trust the data behind every decision
- BA/BS in computer science, economics, product development, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience coaching Agile product teams or operating in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile leadership role within a modern product organization
- Proven ability to apply the Theory of Constraints in real-world product environments - removing bottlenecks, optimizing the order of operations, and reducing opportunity and input costs to accelerate value delivery and improve ROI.
- Hands-on proficiency with product and operational tooling (i.e., Jira, Pendo, analytics dashboards) and the ability to leverage these tools to surface insights, guide decisions, and improve team performance
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive alignment from teams through executive leadership
- A data-informed, product-thinking mindset with the ability to diagnose delivery friction, interpret team and product KPIs, and coach teams toward measurable improvements in customer and business outcomes
- A modern coaching approach, empathetic, pragmatic, outcomes-driven, and grounded in enabling teams to build the right things, the right way, at the right time
