AEM Developer - Java

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to design, develop, and implement high-quality digital experiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, UX, and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-performance AEM solutions while ensuring best practices in development, performance, and security. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and services. Build responsive and dynamic pages using HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, and AEM Core Components. Integrate AEM with external systems through REST / SOAP APIs. Manage and maintain AEM environments including author, publish, and dispatcher instances. Work with CRX/OSGi bundles to implement backend logic and custom functionalities. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and backend developers to deliver seamless product experiences. Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards. Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues including replication, dispatcher configurations, caching, workflows, and more. Participate in deployment activities, release management, and production support. Skillset / Requirements Hands-on experience with AEM 6.x development including components, templates, workflows, and OSGi services. Strong knowledge of HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, JCR, CRXDE Lite, and AEM Core Components. Experience integrating AEM with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs. Familiarity with AEM dispatcher, caching, and content replication. Strong understanding of Java, OSGi framework, and backend development principles. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred but not mandatory). Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. (ref:hirist.tech)
