Advisor to the CEO

A senior strategic leader embedded within a shareholder office to architect and steer the evolution of an integrated MSME ecosystem. This role focuses on designing platform architecture, partnership structures, and governance frameworks while working closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment and measurable impact.

Role Overview

The organisation is evolving from traditional microfinance into a broader MSME ecosystem combining financial services, enablement platforms, and strategic partnerships.

This role provides strategic architecture and executive level steering. Operational ownership remains with delivery teams. The focus is on structure, governance, integration, and performance visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem Strategy and Architecture

• Develop the MSME ecosystem blueprint and service architecture
• Define beneficiary segments and end to end journeys
• Translate global benchmarks into practical strategy

Partnership and Platform Integration

• Design partnership models and governance frameworks
• Align stakeholder roles and platform services
• Ensure scalability and long term sustainability

Program Structuring and Governance

• Structure workstreams, milestones, and reporting frameworks
• Establish governance rhythms and executive dashboards
• Monitor interdependencies and risk signals

Performance and Executive Support

• Define KPIs and impact measurement frameworks
• Prepare strategic briefs and decision support materials
• Provide visibility on progress, trade offs, and scaling priorities

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SME ecosystem development, fintech, digital platforms, or strategy consulting
• Experience in partnership driven or embedded finance models
• Comfortable operating in executive governance environments
• Strong ecosystem and platform thinking capability
• Data driven and commercially aware
• Arabic preferred. English required
