Accounts Receivable Accountant

Davies Group Financial Services is currently seeking a hands-on Revenue & Billing Accountant to support a high-volume, fast-paced finance team. This is a 3 month contract role focused on client billing, accounts receivable, and revenue operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys owning processes and working closely with financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client billing and invoicing processes across multiple accounts
• Support accounts receivable (AR), including cash application and reconciliations
• Work within billing portals and ERP systems to process and track invoices
• Ensure accuracy of revenue reporting and financial data
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Maintain clear documentation of billing and revenue processes
• Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Operations, and Client Services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on billing and/or accounts receivable
• Proven experience managing invoicing and billing workflows
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable processes (cash application, reconciliations, collections)
• Experience working in high-volume or multi-client environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with billing portals or client invoicing platforms
• Exposure to revenue accounting or revenue recognition processes
• Experience in SaaS, insurance, or professional services environments
