Associate-AP

This position is part of GDS India Finance Team and reports to the Assistant Director - Finance. This position serves a critical finance role in accounting & controlling activities of select Entities.

The opportunity

The primary responsibility will be coordinating with various stakeholders on Finance related matters, accruals, Audits and related reporting requirement for India entities. You will work closely with other members of the Finance and accounting teams (India and Overseas) and provides accurate and timely information for month-end close.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Coordination with stakeholders
• Invoice processing / Payment / Vendor Master / Query handling activities
• Part of retained team in GDS and will involve close interaction with service providers and vendors.
• Assist in variance analysis calculations for monthly closure
• Passing entries in SAP system ensuring necessary approval mechanism

• Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards
• Working in multinational environment with different time zones
• High accuracy and on time delivery
• Succinct and structured oral and written communications skills
  
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• M. Com/MBA with 2 years of experience
• Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and handling large amount of data sets and tasks
• Positive attitude and dependable team player
• Strong written and oral communication skills
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Attention to details and sense of ownership
• Ability to stretch in the busy period for high quality and on time delivery
