Role Description The Accounts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sadar, responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting activities of the dealership. The role includes managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate recording of sales, purchases, and expenses. The Accounts Manager will monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, coordinate with banks and finance partners, and help maintain cash flow. The role involves preparing periodic financial statements, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and providing financial reports to management for decision-making. The Accounts Manager will collaborate closely with sales, service, and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial data and support overall business performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Sound knowledge of taxation, compliance, and relevant regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, and other applicable local tax rules).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools, particularly spreadsheets and reporting functions.
  • Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and handle vendor and customer reconciliations.
  • Effective analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounting tasks and reporting deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Experience in automotive, dealership, or similar commercial environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial and business information.
