Accounts Executive

Job Title: Accounts Executive – Food Manufacturing Industry

Location: Chennai, Ambattur
Experience: 4 to 5 Years
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (All Saturdays Working)

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including purchase, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation of all transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor reconciliations and customer follow-ups.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely closure of books.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements and timely filing of returns.
• Monitor inventory accounting and coordinate with production and stores for stock verification.
• Assist in cost analysis and costing activities within the manufacturing setup.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Prepare MIS reports using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.).
• Improve accounting processes and support automation initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams like procurement, production, and logistics.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Proficiency in Excel & Advanced Excel
• Good understanding of GST & TDS
• Experience in Manufacturing industry preferred (Food industry is an added advantage)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
