Role Description The Accounts Assistant role at RS Associates Nagpur is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting activities such as recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The Accounts Assistant will manage petty cash, support credit control processes, and help prepare basic financial reports and documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and documentation accuracy. The role also requires maintaining organized records, supporting audits, and ensuring that accounting practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Credit Control, including monitoring receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and supporting collection efforts.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Petty Cash, including cash disbursements, tracking expenses, and reconciling cash balances.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in an accounts or finance support role.
