Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, and related schedules
- Handle financial reporting, MIS reporting, and management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Pass journal, payment, receipt, and contra entries in Tally
- Maintain project-wise and SPV-wise books of accounts
- Handle vendor invoice accounting, customer receipts, and adjustments
- Perform bank reconciliations (BRS) and ledger scrutiny
- Track project costs including land, construction, approvals, and overheads
- Maintain WIP (Work-in-Progress) and project cost sheets
- Assist in revenue recognition and project profitability tracking
- Support Budget vs Actual analysis and variance reporting
- Handle TDS deduction, deposit, return filing, and reconciliations with Form 26Q/26AS
- Support income tax assessments, audits, and statutory compliance
- Process vendor payments and maintain payment schedules
- Prepare cash flow statements and manage loan-related accounting
- Coordinate with banks for documentation and compliance
- Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance activities
Qualification and key skills:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce or CA Inter with 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and MIS reporting, preferably in the real estate industry
- Mandatory experience in preparing financial statements, financial reporting, MIS reporting, and monthly/annual closing activities
- Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel
