Accounting Manager | SaaS/FinTech | Remote (US-Based)

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, systems-minded Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and strengthen the financial backbone of our growing organization. This role offers the opportunity to own core accounting functions, modernize processes through automation, and play a key part in strategic financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger, payroll, A/P, A/R, and cash reconciliations Lead the monthly close process and deliver timely, accurate reports Manage subscription billing and revenue recognition processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Drive automation and workflow improvements across accounting operations Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with audits, compliance, and tax reporting Support contract renewals and annual price adjustments Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA or CPA track preferred) Experience with subscription/recurring revenue models (SaaS preferred) Strong understanding of US GAAP Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Zoho, Bill.com, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) Proven ability to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments is a plus Why This Role?
