The Accounting team is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting team in Manila. This role will be responsible for overseeing a team of accounting professionals in Manila. You will be the central figure for our Manila accounting team members, providing day to day guidance, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, and serving as their advocate within our global organization. You will play a key role in ensuring the Manila Center of Excellence delivers on the operational priorities established by our global accounting leaders, while also supporting operational excellence initiatives, innovation, and continuous improvement across all accounting areas. We are looking for a hands-on leader who embodies exceptional judgment, adaptability, selflessness, and resilience.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strong leadership and day to day oversight for a team of accounting professionals in the Manila Center of Excellence (COE)
- Cultivate an inclusive, high performing culture that encourages collaboration, growth, and continuous learning
- Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals, fostering their professional development and career progression
- Collaborate closely with global accounting leaders, ensuring strong alignment between COE operations and overall accounting strategy
- Manage global stakeholders expectations and provide regular updates on COE performance, initiatives, and challenges
- Ensure the Manila COE delivers on priorities and service level agreements established by global accounting leaders
- Support global accounting initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation across accounting functions
- Champion a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and solutions to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) and report on performance to global accounting stakeholders
- Accounting or Finance background; CPA certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX requirements
- 10 or more years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working at a global/multinational company is a plus
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high performing, diverse teams in a global context
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels throughout the organization to drive change and continuous improvement
- Ability to thrive and adapt to evolving priorities in a global environment
- Must be open to working on a hybrid setup (3 days of onsite work per week in our Makati office)
