Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, as well as proficiency in tools such as Sage Intacct and Excel-based FP& A systems.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support organizational decision-making.
• Develop forecasting models to project financial outcomes and support strategic planning.
• Monitor and manage budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Generate detailed financial reports to provide insights into company performance.
• Utilize Sage Intacct and Excel-based FP& A tools to streamline accounting workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on accounting tools and processes.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on month-end close and general ledger activities.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Excel-based FP& A tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present financial information clearly.
