Role Overview

Roop Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting transactions
• Record financial data and maintain proper accounting documentation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare invoices, payment records, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records
• Assist with GST filings and statutory compliance
• Maintain financial reports and assist in monthly or quarterly reporting
• Coordinate with management for financial planning and expense tracking

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial data responsibly

Qualifications

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (Tally or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, and financial compliance
• Experience in managing invoices and financial documentation
