Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure timely tax and statutory compliance in line with relevant regulations. The Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, assist in internal audits, and provide financial reports and insights to management for decision-making. Additional responsibilities may include supporting payroll processing, monitoring cost controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.

  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other tax and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to perform reconciliations, support audits, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a technology or healthcare-related environment is beneficial.
