Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role includes preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, and assisting with payroll processing and expense management. The Accountant will support monthly and annual closing activities, prepare basic financial reports, and assist in budgeting and cost control related to manufacturing operations. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and vendors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant tax and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing businesses.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in plastics or related sectors, is highly beneficial.
