Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting, GST compliance, income tax returns, and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, and expense records
• Assist in GST work:
• GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• GST reconciliation and compliance
• Assist in Income Tax (ITR) preparation and filing
• Handle banking-related work:
• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Cheque deposits, payments, and follow-ups
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
• Assist senior accountant with monthly and yearly closing
• Coordinate with CA for audits and compliance work

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills : Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Accounting principles
• Working knowledge of GST, ITR, and banking processes
• Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
