Job Description

A leader in the Fashion Media & Entertainment sector focused on talent, content and commerce across the fashion and lifestyle ecosystem in India. We operate within recruitment and media services serving designers, retailers, and production partners—delivering punctual, high-quality financial operations that support creative business lines.

Primary title: Accountant (Staff Accountant)

Role & Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle day-to-day accounting: post journal entries, maintain ledgers, and reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and working papers to support management reporting.
Execute timely bank reconciliations, monitor cash flows, and manage vendor payments and receipts.
Ensure statutory compliance: prepare and support GST and TDS filings, and coordinate with tax consultants for returns.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
Provide documentation and assistance for internal and statutory audits; implement corrective actions from audit findings.

Qualifications

Qualified in accounting/commerce (e.g., CA Inter / CMA Inter / B.Com) or equivalent finance certification.
Proven hands-on experience in accounting operations within India (on-site role).
Comfortable working in fast-paced media/creative environments with strict deadlines.
