Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Chennai, India. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and handling bookkeeping. Additional responsibilities include processing payroll, monitoring budgets, conducting financial audits, and assisting in forecasting and financial planning to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in bookkeeping, financial record management, and financial reporting
• Experience with tax compliance, payroll processing, and regulatory adherence
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial planning
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools, with attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accreditation such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
