Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant cum Store Keeper role based in Kochi. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting invoicing and payment processing. The position also includes store-keeping responsibilities such as monitoring inventory levels, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating material receipts and issues, and assisting with regular stock audits. The Accountant cum Store Keeper will work closely with the operations and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and proper documentation. The role requires consistent adherence to company policies, proper filing of records, and clear communication with colleagues and vendors.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and invoice handling.
  • Experience in store keeping or inventory management, with the ability to track stock levels, manage material movements, and support stock audits.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant educational background in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or inventory management are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
