Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Noida.

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger posting, and maintenance of accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

The role involves supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, support audits, provide financial insights to management, and contribute to building transparent and efficient financial processes that enable CoGrad’s mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with accounting software Tally and MS Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to perform reconciliations, manage accounts payable/receivable, and support internal and external audits.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in the education and social impact sector, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
