Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Noida. The Accountant will manage day-to-day secretarial compliance operations, accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and cash flow tracking, and ensuring accurate and timely tax and statutory compliance. The role will support internal audits, maintain proper documentation for financial and regulatory purposes, and coordinate with external auditors and advisors as needed. The Accountant will also collaborate with legal and operations teams to provide financial data, reports, and insights that support firm-wide decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in core accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Companies Act, Secretarial Standards, taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements relevant to professional services firms.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records under deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with legal, operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/ACCA or pursuing) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a professional services, consulting, or law firm environment is preferred but not mandatory.
