Role Overview Company Accountant

CFM is seeking a Company Accountant to join the finance team and support the financial management of the business through the preparation of financial reports, monthly accounts and performance analysis.

The Company Accountant will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing financial insight that supports business decision making. Working within a fast-paced environment, the Company Accountant will collaborate with departments across the organisation to deliver clear financial information, maintain compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to continuous improvement within the finance function.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an Accountant who enjoys working closely with the wider business and translating financial data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Support statutory compliance activities and ensure financial reporting requirements are met
• Maintain financial and KPI reporting to support business performance monitoring
• Work closely with departments across the business to provide financial insight and support decision making
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
• Carry out variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial performance
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
• Assist with additional financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting requirements as required
  
  

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified / QBE with experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience in financial reporting, management accounts preparation and financial analysis
• Excellent IT skills including strong Excel capability
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
