Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 240000 - Rs 299000 (ie INR 2-2.99 LPA)

Min Experience: 1 years

Location: Noida

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure statutory compliance. This role requires hands-on expertise in GST return filings (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B), TDS compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
  • Prepare invoices and oversee billing activities
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B)
  • Ensure TDS compliance and manage statutory deductions
  • Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable tax regulations

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 1-2 years of practical experience in accounting and compliance
  • B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting
  • Hands-on experience in GST return filing (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B)
  • Basic understanding of TDS and Income Tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Tally, Busy, or other ERP/accounting software
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel for reporting and reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
  • Effective time management and ability to meet statutory deadlines
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
