Company Description Inside The Box (ITB) is a food and beverage consultancy and 360° growth engine focused on India’s restaurant operators, including QSR, cafés, casual dining, and cloud kitchen brands. ITB embeds within clients’ businesses to provide a unified view of performance, identifying what drives growth and what causes leakage. The team runs core levers such as funnels, discount strategy, ad spend, and menus through a weekly governance loop co-owned with client teams and led by a dedicated Impact Manager. Using a structured approach—understand, diagnose, execute, and scale—ITB helps restaurants optimize demand, profitability, and retention. ITB is headquartered in New Delhi, India and works closely with operators seeking to start, scale, or fix their ventures.
Role Description The Impact Manager intern will support on-site client engagements from the Inside The Box office in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. This internship role focuses on learning how to own and improve key performance metrics for restaurant brands by tracking funnels, discount structures, ad performance, and menu effectiveness. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing data on cuisine demand, menu patterns, pricing, and platform hygiene; assisting in diagnosing funnel leakages, item profitability, and retention cohorts; and contributing to weekly governance loops with client teams. The intern will help implement execution plans such as menu changes, bidding strategies, SOPs, and page hygiene cleanups, and will support documentation and reporting for scale-up initiatives and monthly reviews. This is an on-site internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in F&B consulting and growth management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with data, metrics, and performance dashboards.
- Interest in the food and beverage, restaurant, or consumer brands sector, with basic understanding of marketing funnels and customer behavior.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides); familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts is an advantage.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, economics, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Willingness to be based full-time on-site in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi for the duration of the internship.
