Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves providing guidance to participants on academic pathways, skill development, and training options aligned with entrepreneurship and career goals. The Academic Counselor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, help individuals understand available programs and curricula, and support them in selecting appropriate courses or learning tracks. Responsibilities include tracking academic progress, maintaining accurate counseling records, collaborating with mentors and program managers, and organizing informational sessions or workshops. The role also requires clear communication with learners, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they are supported throughout their academic and professional development journey.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to guide learners on professional and entrepreneurial pathways.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems, training programs, and curriculum structures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience providing academic or career guidance in an educational, training, or incubation setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage with diverse learner profiles.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic digital tools and documentation.
