Academic Counsellor – Tele Sales

An Academic Counsellor – Tele Sales plays a key role in guiding students and parents toward suitable educational programs through proactive phone-based counselling. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, understanding student needs, and clearly explaining course features, benefits, fees, and admission processes. The counsellor builds trust by offering accurate academic guidance aligned with the student’s goals, such as competitive exams or career-oriented programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound tele-calls to students and parents regarding academic programs.
  • Counsel prospective students by understanding their educational background, goals, and career aspirations.
  • Explain course details, curriculum structure, exam relevance, fees, batch schedules, and admission procedures clearly.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and ensure timely conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and student interactions in the CRM system.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrolment and revenue targets.
  • Address queries, concerns, and objections professionally to build trust and credibility.
  • Coordinate with academic, operations, and marketing teams for smooth admissions and onboarding.
  • Provide post-enrolment support and basic guidance to students and parents when required.
  • Stay updated on courses, competitive exams, and counselling best practices.
