Role Description We are seeking a 5G L2 Protocol Stack Developer for a full-time hybrid role based in Gurgaon, with an option for partial remote work. The developer will design, develop, and implement 5G Layer 2 protocol software, focusing on scheduling, MAC/RLC protocols, and performance optimization. Other responsibilities include debugging and resolving issues, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation. You will also work on integrating and validating 5G protocol solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. Qualifications Strong expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python Deep knowledge of 5G NR specifications, including MAC, RLC, PDCP layers, and 3GPP standards Proficiency in protocol stack development, optimization, and debugging tools Hands-on experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and software architecture Familiarity with networking protocols, wireless communication technologies, and system simulations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (Master?s degree preferred) Previous experience with 5G network rollouts or wireless network performance tuning will be an advantage Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
