Job description (Analytics Consultant ? Power BI Developer) Designation: Consultant II Job Location: Gurgaon Shift Timing: 12:00PM IST ? 10:00 PM IST Experience: 3+ years Role Overview & Responsibilites: Develop ,test, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions across operational and analytical reporting domains. Interact/collaborate across Global Reporting team members, Technology partners, data teams who are supplying data for our reporting, data governance, actuaries , and business stakeholders to deliver solutions. Create moderate to complex data transformations using SQL scripting and Power BI/Power Query/DAX. Design and build complex Power BI reporting solutions targeted at specific user personas and use cases. Design and develop complex and layered, reusable semantic models Have extensive experience with data modelling Experience with Power BI Desktop, Server, Power Apps etc. Manage projects and timelines, maintain comprehensive internal documentation, participate in data governance processes, and provide regular status updates to Global Reporting teammates and business stakeholders. Skillsets: 4+ years of experience in BI/Analytics with 5+ Years in power BI and SQL. Excellent communication & presentation skills and should be able to communicate with client effectively Experience in managing SQL codes and collaborating with customer on visualization needs Great experience with advanced Power BI skills with strong knowledge of Semantic modeling Data relationships DAX( moderately complex measures) Power BI Dataflows and scheduled refreshes Experiene with Power BI workspace administrations, including: Publishing apps Defining audiences Familiarity with performance tuning in Power BI(preferred) Intermediate-level SQL skills, including Writing and optimizing queries Creating , modifying and dropping tables/views Working with stored procedures Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in production support Ability to work independently and in close partnership with other analysts. Ability to research and address production support issues related to Power BI reports. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies(including sprint plannings, stand-ups, Jira, and version control) Experience and/or ability conducting regression testing of reports, and ability to contribute to and execute test plans. Candidate Profile: Bachelor?s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply Strong and in-depth understanding of Power BI Data visualization experience Superior analytical and problem solving skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Working experience with Insurance domain Power BI certification is a plus.
