Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As a 3D Visual Designer, you will shape how our drops feel before they ship, turning concepts, materials, and product intent into collectible visuals with speed, accuracy, and strong taste. This is a 0 to 100 startup seat where you take ownership of outputs, move fast through feedback, collaborate daily with creatives and marketers, and raise the bar with every launch.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate drop briefs into 3D shot plans by proposing angles, lighting mood, and asset needs, then aligning quickly with marketing and creative so production starts with clarity and fewer approval loops.
  • Model and refine 3D assets for products, props, and environments using clean topology and efficient UVs, delivering organized source files that are easy to iterate on across colorways, materials, and campaign variations.
  • Build believable materials and textures by matching real world references for fabrics, metals, plastics, and finishes, then outputting consistent shader setups that preserve the premium, collectible feel across scenes and renders.
  • Set up lighting and camera systems that support the story of each drop, producing cinematic frames and motion shots that hold up on ads, landing pages, and social without losing product truth.
  • Produce photoreal renders and short animations with repeatable render settings, delivering launch-ready exports in the correct formats and resolutions while balancing realism with performance and turnaround time.
  • Create 360 assets and web-ready deliverables by optimizing geometry, texture sizes, and file formats, validating output quality and load behavior so the assets look premium without slowing down experiences.
  • Support packaging and unboxing storytelling by building realistic 3D mockups of boxes, tags, inserts, and premium finishes, helping teams validate design direction early and reduce back and forth with production partners.
  • Maintain tight file hygiene through naming conventions, version discipline, and structured handoffs, ensuring teammates can pick up scenes quickly and reproduce results without guesswork or missing dependencies.
  • Run fast review cycles by sharing checkpoints, responding to feedback with clear changes, and documenting decisions, so stakeholders stay aligned and the final visuals match drop intent and brand consistency.
  • Improve the pipeline over time by creating templates, checklists, and reusable scene components, reducing repeated setup work and making it easier to scale quality as the number of drops increases.

Who You Are

  • You have 12 to 24 months of hands-on 3D design experience and a portfolio that shows strong lighting, materials, and photoreal rendering, with at least a few outputs tied to brand or product storytelling.
  • You can take a brief from idea to export by planning shots, structuring scenes, and managing revisions, while keeping outputs consistent across multiple deliverables that ship on real timelines.
  • You understand core production fundamentals like topology cleanliness, UV efficiency, texture workflow, shader logic, and render optimization, and you can explain the tradeoffs you make when speed and realism collide.
  • You communicate clearly with cross-functional partners by sharing progress, flagging risks early, and packaging files for clean handoffs, so approvals are faster and teammates are never blocked by missing context.
  • You thrive in a 0 to 100 environment, showing daily intensity, high ownership, and startup readiness, and you care about building culture through reliability, positive collaboration, and long-term commitment.
  • You welcome feedback without friction and iterate quickly, protecting quality while staying adaptable, so the team can explore options fast without losing the premium DROPZ look.
  • You have strong visual taste for fashion and lifestyle, and you can match references for materials, finishes, and lighting so renders feel tangible, premium, and worthy of limited-edition hype.
  • You keep your work organized with clean scene structure, naming discipline, and export consistency, making it easy to reuse assets and scale output across repeated drop cycles.
  • You are comfortable working with modern 3D workflows and rendering pipelines, and you can adapt your approach across common tools while still delivering predictable, high-quality results.
  • You take accountability for quality checks like scale accuracy, material realism, and artifact cleanup, so final exports are launch-ready and do not require last-minute fixes under pressure.

What We Offer

  • High ownership work where your visuals directly shape hype, perceived rarity, and conversion, with room to push creative ambition while still shipping reliably on tight drop timelines.
  • A culture-forward workspace that values storytelling, taste, and dependable execution, where you can grow quickly by being a strong collaborator and taking responsibility end to end.
  • The chance to help define DROPZ’s visual language across products, mascots, and campaigns, building reusable 3D systems that compound in quality with every drop.
