Job Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack materials and finished products within the plant, warehouse, and yard. This role ensures accurate material handling, supports smooth production and logistics flow, and upholds strict safety and housekeeping standards at all times.

Qualifications

High school certificate or equivalent.

Valid forklift operating license.

1–3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial/plant environment.

Skilled in operating heavy forklifts with capacities of 30 tons and above.

Competent in the safe operation of forklifts and basic material-handling equipment.

Basic understanding of load charts, capacity limits, and safe stacking practices.

Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and documentation.

Strong awareness of safety procedures, traffic rules, and PPE requirements.

High attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
