About The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join us in Bengaluru as part of one of our core global engineering teams. Our teams build and evolve enterprise-grade platforms that power global financial markets, enabling clients to trade efficiently and manage post-trade workflows at scale. You will contribute to high-performance, low-latency systems that are central to our success, while working in an environment that values technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to contribute to the evolution of systems that have real impact across global financial markets. What You?ll Do Design, build, and enhance backend components across our trading, post-trade, data, and regulatory platforms. Deliver production-ready, high-quality code within a distributed, multi-tier architecture that supports real-time global operations. Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Contribute to design discussions focusing on performance, scalability, and high availability. Participate in peer code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team-wide process improvements. Support production releases and troubleshoot issues, ensuring systems remain stable and performant. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting improvements to our engineering practices and architecture. What We?re Looking For 4+ years of commercial experience as a Java Developer working on large-scale or enterprise systems. Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE. Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, multi-threaded services, and distributed architectures. Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and DevOps tools supporting CI/CD workflows. Exposure to messaging or event-driven systems such as Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ. Demonstrates strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with global teams. A continuous learner who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
