We are looking for futuristic, motivated go getters having following skills for an exciting role. Role Description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced **PHP Tech Lead** to lead our backend development team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in PHP (preferably using framework Laravel), excellent problem-solving skills, and proven leadership abilities. You will be responsible for guiding the team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and services. Key Responsibilities * Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, ensuring coding standards and best practices. * Design and architect scalable and secure PHP-based applications. * Review code, provide technical guidance, and manage technical debt. * Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features. * Take ownership of technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and ensure timely delivery. * Monitor application performance and improve existing systems for scalability and speed. * Oversee the integration of third-party services and APIs. * Manage sprints, planning, and task assignments using Agile methodologies. * Ensure the team adheres to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing. * Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to our tech stack. Required Skills & Qualifications * 6+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development. * Strong experience with Laravel framework. * Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases. * Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, design patterns, and MVC architecture. * Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). * Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. * Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong leadership, team management, and project planning abilities. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in leading remote/distributed teams. * Contributions to open-source PHP projects. * Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
