Founding Backend Engineer ?to own and scale the real-time core of the platform. What You?ll Build Real-time?chat, presence, group sync, and shared state Live rooms?with multi-user concurrency Event-driven systems for?notifications, sessions, and live commerce High-performance?Redis + Socket.IO / WebSockets?infrastructure APIs for creators, payments, and interactions Scalable backend architecture for?10K ? 1M users Must-Have Skills 3+ years of?Node.js / TypeScript backend experience Strong in?WebSockets / Socket.IO Deep understanding of?Redis, caching, queues, pub/sub Experience with?AWS, Docker, Microservices Solid grasp of?system design & real-time concurrency Comfortable owning production systems end-to-end Experience with?WebRTC (voice/video) Built?real-time gaming, trading, or live-streaming systems Worked on?high-concurrency platforms (10K+ users) Startup or early-stage product experience What You Get Founding Engineer title Equity + leadership growth (Potential CTO Role) Direct ownership of product real-time engine Freedom to design architecture the right way Massive upside as the platform scales
