Job Description

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain payment gateway & switch applications using .NET Core / C#. Build and optimize high-performance APIs, microservices, and transaction routing engines. Implement XML, JSON, UPI, IMPS, RuPay, Visa, MasterCard integrations. Ensure security, scalability, and PCI-DSS compliance in payment applications. Work with BA, Product, and Ops teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve transaction failures, settlement/reconciliation issues. Participate in SIT, UAT, and production support for payment projects. Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and process automation. Desired Profile Of The Candidate 3- 5years of development experience in .NET Core / C# / ASP.NET Core. Strong experience in payment systems, fintech, banking technology, or switch development. Hands-on expertise with ISO 8583 messaging, transaction routing, host-to-host integrations. Proficiency in Web API, REST, microservices, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) preferred. Knowledge of RBI/PCI-DSS standards, security & encryption in financial applications. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Education Qualification Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT. Certifications in .NET, Cloud, or Payment Systems (preferred) (ref:hirist.tech)
